The screen print design on the wheels is an original Jarvis Rockwell design from the 1950's.  Made in the USA.

An excellent toy!!! My daughter has played with this since she was one and now she is three and still plays with this toy.

This is a really cool, simple little toy in a very small size, just right for a toddler's stocking! I love his happy face, the retro Jarvis Rockwell designs on the primary-colored wheels, and the fun little egg (ours is red and solid, not yellow, bead-like and hollow as is shown in the picture) that turns merrily round and round as this happy little car zips about the floor. My children are still playing with their grandfather's old 1960's Holgate stacker from when he was a baby! Holgate toys do indeed last a lifetime... and then some!
